September 18, 2009Ahoy! Avast! Shiver me timbers. Another fine week and we're back to bring you more tutorial fun. The weather has cooled down just enough here to make you want to go somewhere warmer. Finally had to shut those windows at night, it was like having the air conditioning full blast. Yes, I definitely did just talk about the weather. Isn't that one of those things you bring up when you have nothing better to talk about? Who said I didn't have anything better to talk about? I just want to go to the beach! But beware of the coast! Arrrr… Well, there might not be any pirates on our coast, but you just might be surprised what you'll come across! This week's featured tutorial makes us remember the classic Jules Verne novel, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea. This time though, we don't need to be worried about being under the sea, just on top of it! Heed my warning as there's a good chance a Giant Sea Creature Attacks! Hope you know how to swim. Maybe if you come across the creature the lovely Water Elemental will be able to help you out! If not that, perhaps Stormy Man can scare it away. Once you make it to the coastline again, a giant chicken-horse will carry you away… with a chick riding it. No, not a scaredy-horse, a chicken-horse. You'll see. Check it out! Just keep swimming, Kirin Knapp please email me at: kirin@tutorialsportal.com |

And here is the unknowing sea vessel that’s soon to be wrapped in slimy tentacles. ![]() First, use the Lasso Tools to cut out the first tentacle. Trace the front bow of the ship and delete the tentacle portion.
