September 25, 2009Greetings righteous readers. It has been a far out week. I am way stoked about fixing up my new car, and excited that autumn is finally here. No more flower power man… leaf power? That sounds like Super Mario Brothers 3, where you get the fire flower or the leaf. You get that raccoon tail with the leaf, not to be confused with the Tanuki suit, where you actually wear an entire raccoon outfit. Anyway…you could still have flower power if you wanted to. Who am I to judge when and where you practice your freedom, or if you want to play video games? We're switching it up a little this week. John is back this week with another solid tutorial! Create a Retro Style Poster complete with a foxy lady and some groovy fun. We haven't featured a poster yet! He'll have you making your own rockin' posters in no time flat. Continue on the poster and wallpaper binge with a good fight, celebrating a fight night. Acquire some new techniques when learning how to make a detailed photo collage, and crank up the volume on a music wallpaper montage. That somehow rhymed. I swear it was on accident. Well, seeya next week! Peace, love, and happiness, Kirin Knapp please email me at: kirin@tutorialsportal.com |

And I am left with this: Once that is complete create a new layer above that and use the text tool to type some text that fits across the entire canvas. I will use FuturaBlack BT which I have in a font pack, but you can grab any font that has some flat edges on the top and bottom. I typed out “Stumble” in all caps...
